Character & Environment Concepts
Protagonist
Meep the Hamster is small and is physically disadvantaged (short limbs and all) which makes him an underdog in the tournament. But what he lacks in size and strength, he makes up for with determination and a real love for badminton. He’s playing to make his hamster clan proud and isn’t afraid to surprise everyone.

Opponent 1
Darwin the Fish is a champion from the Atlantic badminton tournament and is coming overseas to conquer badminton on land. Darwin is protected by the water tank helmet to breathe and has an extremely large figure compared to a normal fish. However, he has trouble adapting to the land environment which makes him slow and clumsy.
Opponent 2
Frog (King KeroKero the III) is a three-time champion and self-proclaimed king of the swamp. King Gero is known for being lazy in the play and mostly let his tongue do the work. Compact in size, constantly slimy, and usually stay put, but if his crown gets knocked off, he’ll leap to the opponent’s side in a fit of fury.

Opponent 3
Takoyakiman the Octopus is the reigning badminton champion, equipped with eight rackets and the ability to shoot ink give him a significant advantage in matches. Takoyakiman and his octopus family shown a clear disdain for rodents, fueling his will to win the final match against Meep.
Environment
The setting of the scene is within an indoor badminton court, brightly lit with vibrant lighting that energizes the space. It is set up similarly to a professional tournament and there will be colourful banners, energetic crowds, and a digital scoreboard flashing real-time updates, all highlighting the fast-paced matches played within.
